Child Safety Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Ping2US is committed to providing a safe environment for all users and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This policy outlines our standards and the measures we take to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE
Ping2US strictly prohibits any content, behaviour, or activity that sexually exploits or abuses minors. This includes but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
- Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors
- Any content that sexualises individuals under the age of 18
- Using the platform to facilitate contact with minors for exploitative purposes
Any user found to be engaging in such behaviour will be permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
2. Age requirements
Ping2US requires all users to be at least 13 years of age. Users are required to confirm their date of birth during registration. Accounts found to belong to users under 13 will be deleted immediately. The platform is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
3. Content moderation
We use a combination of automated tools and human review to detect and remove harmful content:
- All uploaded images are automatically scanned using Google Cloud Vision's SafeSearch API, which detects and blocks adult, violent, and inappropriate content before it becomes visible to other users
- User-generated content including event descriptions and messages is subject to our community guidelines
- Our admin team reviews all user reports and takes action within 30 days, with urgent safety reports prioritised immediately
4. Reporting mechanisms
Ping2US provides in-app tools that allow any user to report inappropriate content or behaviour directly:
- Users can report other users, events, messages, and reviews from within the app
- Users can block other users to prevent further contact
- All reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team
To report a child safety concern outside the app, or if you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services. You may also report CSAM to the NCMEC at CyberTipline or to your national authority.
5. Messaging safety
Direct messaging on Ping2US is limited to participants of shared events. Users cannot initiate unsolicited contact with strangers outside of an event context. All users can report and block others at any time.
6. Law enforcement cooperation
Ping2US will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies investigating CSAE. We will preserve and provide relevant data in response to valid legal requests, and will proactively report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities.
7. Contact
To report a child safety concern or CSAE-related issue on our platform, contact us at privacy@ping2us.com. We treat all such reports with the highest priority.
