Ping2US ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Ping2US mobile application and website.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Name, email address, phone number
• Profile photo and banner image
• Date of birth (to verify minimum age of 13)
• Location data (for event discovery — only when app is in use)
• Event content you create and messages you send
• For company/community accounts: organisation name, website domain

2. How we use your information

• To provide and improve the Ping2US service
• To show you relevant events based on your location and interests
• To send notifications about events you've applied to or organised
• To verify your identity and prevent fraud
• To process subscription payments (via Stripe)

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, file storage
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions and event sponsorship
• Other users — your profile name and photo are visible to other app users

4. Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Deletion removes your profile, photos, created events, and participation records from our systems. Some data may be retained for legal compliance for up to 30 days after deletion.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@ping2us.com for any data requests.

6. Children's privacy

Ping2US is not intended for children under 13. We require users to confirm their date of birth during registration. If we discover an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it.
